Help Us Help Our Mum and Partner come Home
Help us Help Our Terminally Ill Mother and her Partner to Come home to New Zealand to live out her dying wishes.

Hi all this is a tough ask, but our only last hope To help our Mum and Partner Come Home....
You see our beautiful Mum Christine McLennan of 69yrs (70 in December) has for the second time been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which is now Terminal, back in January. Has only been given Immunotherapy, as they believe there's nothing more they can do for her :-(...
She was given 12-18mths to live (it's now been already 10mths) and we are desperately trying to fulfill hers and her loving partners dying wishes of bringing them and their belongings back over here to New Zealand to spend her last dying moments with us her/his loving family, as they and us are unable to fund this reality to happen. Which breaks our hearts and souls...
Her only treatment (Immunotherapy) she got a high fever (38dg+) which is dangerous to her health.
She suffered from Sepsis and a nasty Staph infection (to which they couldn't find the source), all the Antibiotics they tried was resistant.
She was seen by doctors, and even given the 'Donate your organs speech', which terrified us all :-( eventually they found the right kind of antibiotics, Albumin, steroids, 4 long days later she was well enough to go home but weak and brittle. Please Please with all our hearts, HELP US TO HELP OUR MUM AND PARTNER!!! WE PRAY AND HOPE BUT EACH DAY IS GETTING SHORTER.............

No Longer Able To Bring Mum and Her Partner Home ;-( 19 May 2023
Hi Want to thank each and every one of you very much for all your kind words, love and support.
It means alot to us all.
Things sadly have changed for the worst for now, Mums cancer has now spread from her Lungs, to her, Liver and now her spine and now its become clear that she/they are better off staying in Brisbane Australia as there Healthcare is far superior and Mum is getting quite frail now and Dad struggling to keep up with his work to support them both (so am unsure what and how they will be able to survive but with family we will try and do everything we can to make Mum and Dad comfortable etc...).
We had hoped that we would have been able to make Mums dreams of getting to New Zealand one last time come true with the help of this page, but sadly wasn't meant to be.
So now it looks to be a better idea that I go over to help care and support my Mum and Dad and spen what little quality time we have together.
