Very soon, Tristram and I are heading to Timor-Leste for a year to support the development of ecotourism, a sustainable way for communities to grow and thrive - with the support of Volunteer.Service Abroad (VSA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT).

VSA has been working alongside communities across the Pacific for decades, sharing skills and building stronger futures. But like many not-for-profits, they’ve recently been hit hard by government funding cuts.

Despite these setbacks, VSA remains committed to sending skilled workers and supporting vital community-led projects across the region - and we’re proud to be part of that mission.
