Helping children in Vietnam who have been enslaved, trafficked or are on the streets.

I feel lucky to live in NZ where children have a free education, there is help for those without jobs and children do not end up trafficked into slavery or forced marriages. However, in rural Vietnam many families are very poor and the Covid crisis has made the situation worse, and more children have ended up in slavery, forced marriages or on the streets.

So I am hosting a dinner for friends to help raise funds to support Blue Dragon work in Vietnam, rescuing and supporting these children to recover, get an education and transform their lives. Having been to Vietnam and visited their Childrens house I know they do fantastic work https://www.bluedragon.org/our-work/ and the money will get to where it's needed.

● Monthly school fees, a uniform and books for one child, and resources for impoverished schools: NZ$85

● Course fee, textbook, stationery and basic living allowance for a student at university for a month: NZ$130
