Hello everyone.
Yay! You've made it to my give a little page 🤗 It is here that you can donate as little or as much as you like and support Voices of Hope who do some amazing work for people struggling with mental health.
I'm getting back into the ring to support the cause and to continue my own mental health journey which started back in 2019. I fell in love with the sport the moment I stepped in the gym and it has taught me a lot in life. I've learnt that there are a lot of similarities in boxing and life as we live it.This script below sums up what I'm trying to say pretty well.
"The biggest metaphor for boxing and life is that there’s no easy path in either. Life will knock you on your ass, when you least expect it. A fighter will get driven to his knees, by a formidable opponent. You have a choice, do you stay down, basically giving up, or will you spring to your feet and fight back like a hooked fish. It’s easy to give up on the fight of life and the fight in the ring. It’s when we are driven to our knees by either, that we find out who, and what we are." (Unknown)
I will continue to fight through life one day at a time supporting those around me who are also battling through life. Thank you again for all the love and support everyone has shown me throughout my journey and I can't wait to show you all what I've been working on.
Shout out to my team, the Red team AKA MADD Pack, who have been my punching bags, hype, and motivation for the past 12 weeks. Let's get MADD 👊
