Help BBBS CHCH cover the costs of a 'Hit and run-in' incident with their parked car! Funds will cover the $500 insurance excess!

Canterbury

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Christchurch are a fantastic organisation who find and support volunteer adult mentors (Big Brothers for boys, or Big Sisters for girls) for kids in need in Christchurch! These volunteers make a HUGE difference in the lives of the kids they hang out with, boosting their confidence and resilience in what is a tough world for a lot of kids! It's an incredibly worthwhile not for profit organisation adding value to our community!

BBBS have a cute Nissan Cube (donated by an ex Staff Member) which was recently involved in a 'Hit and run-in' accident, where someone hit the car when it was parked and left without leaving contact details or insurance information! For an organisation that (like the Cube) 'runs on the smell of an oily rag', the $500 Insurance is a large amount and directly impacts their aim of what little funding they have supporting the volunteer matches!

This Givealittle campaign aims to cover the $500 for the insurance excess and a little extra for a really good service (grease, oil change etc) to keep the Cube running and supporting the staff and volunteers even longer!

Every little bit helps! No donation is too small! $5/$10/$25

The BBBS Cube staff car was involved in a 'hit and run' accident recently. The culprit didn't leave a note taking responsibility and now BBBS is left with a $500 Insurance excess bill! Let's help them out!
