Fundraising for Waiariki Women's Refuge

In August 2024 I will be participating in the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, riding across North America from Florida to Alaska through Canada. It is a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual endurance challenge with a strong indigenous component. Part of the challenge is to fundraise for charity and I am supporting the great work done by Waiariki Women's Refuge. $40 pays for a nights accommodation for those escaping domestic violence and provides a safe haven for them and their whanau.

All funds raised go to the refuge, as well as a charity ride on 11 May 2024 where riders pay $20, there is the option to sponsor me on a per mile basis. The event is approximately 10 000 miles which I plan to complete in 14 days and 1 cent a mile raises $100, half a cent a mile raises $50, a quarter of a cent per mile raises $25.
