42.2kms before I turn 40 - support page to show my favourite charities some aroha and motivate me to finish.

In 2017 I made a commitment to myself to complete one marathon before I turned 40.
So here we are. 2021 and four weeks from my birthday. I've trained for a full year for this, and expected to be running it at an organised event with other participants, instead finding myself in a different position where I am the organiser and am having a crack at completing this solo.
This is where I need your help. Knowing that finishing every km means that these amazing charities/organisations will benefit from some funding is the motivation I need to make this happen. These are special people with big hearts who really help people and animals in need. Whether you pledge me $1 to finish the 42.2kms or $50, every single cent is appreciated and will drive me to finish.

Marathon route details 13 November 2021
Finish point is the new Foster Park sports facility opposite the pool as the other side I discovered this morning had been dug up for flood remediation.
There is a cafe on the end of the building near the playground and we will end up in the grassed area behind the playground beside the Cafe.
