Our whānau would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave koha in Tania's honour and supported us throughout this journey. We also thank those who were unable to koha but gave words of encouragement.
It has been an honour to raise pūtea in Tania's name. Your tautoko, aroha, and manaakitanga throughout this journey have been both humbling and deeply meaningful to our whānau.
We also acknowledge that hospices serve specific regions, meaning many of you generously supported a service that neither you nor your whānau may ever personally use. Throughout this journey, many of you have shared stories of how your own loved ones were cared for by their local hospice. We have heard only positive stories, filled with gratitude for the compassion, dignity, and support provided. We thank you not only for your koha, but also for sharing the stories of your loved ones with us.
As this fundraising journey comes to a close, we encourage you to consider supporting your own local hospice in the future, should you be in a position to do so. Whether through pūtea, volunteering your time, or donating quality goods to a hospice shop, every contribution helps hospices continue providing care, compassion, and dignity to individuals and whānau during some of life's most challenging moments.
Through your kindness, Tania's memory has been honoured in a way that will remain with us always.
