Hospice Big Ride

    1000 kms completed . Finished ride in 23 hours 40 min 58 secs., My average speed for the whole ride was 42.74 kph. Went through some dark stages during the ride with the hardest parts getting my head in the right space to finish. Body fairly shattered and a very sore butt . Well worth it though.

    There weeks to go for start of the big ride.

    Just ramping up the training and wouldn't you know it, I have an ankle injury. Off to the physio. Gotta sort this out quick.

    I have now stared training for this Hospice Big Ride.

    To get to 200 kms a day for 5 days in a row will take many hours in the saddle.

    Oh my aching butt
