A fight night to help fight for the right cause
Otago
Hi everyone, I'm Hugh Morrison and am currently in my 5th year of Law and Commerce at our fine university. With age comes experience and mild dementia, but one experience I don’t have is getting my face repeatedly punched in. So in order to rectify this issue I am fighting in the OUSA Charity Fight Night. Having had three surgeries in 18 months I have the body of an 85 year old man, but as the old saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Another issue that is in need of being rectified is this countries child poverty statistics. As of 2017, 27% of Children live in low income households, while 7% live in severe poverty. 290,000 Kiwi children live in hardship, and by taking part in Ousa's fight night, I am hoping to help this issue in some small way by gathering donations for the wonderful people at the KidsCan charity. At KidsCan they provide things for children such as food, clothing, and different health items. If you've ever tried studying on an empty stomach, imagine doing that every day.
So donate to the cause! Don't let me get multiple facial contusions for nothing, and get your good karma for the month
Hi everyone, so I'm fighting in the OUSA Charity fight night in order to raise money for the great work that KidsCan do everyday. Get that sweet sweet good karma for the week and donate to help change a child's life
