I fought for my life and beat Cancer and found purpose in life,now I fight to support others in the battle. "PUNCH WITH PURPOSE"

Jan 2024 my world was turned upside down I was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer and told that I was unlikely to make it to the end of the year. Man I was a mess ,I had five children who needed their Dad around, so I fought,intense and strong chemotherapy for 2 months. which I will never forget the side effects were horrendous and unforgiving then 4o sessions of radiation treatment which also was not the most comfortable of experiences either followed by surgeries to remove tumor and remodel my internal organs. Without a doubt the hardest and longest fight,battle, struggle of my life and I came out on top and am here today thanks to the support of doctors ,nurses family and The Cancer Society without the Cancer Society supporting me with travel,accomadation,information and the caring and understanding volunteers i doubt i would be here today.

So to show how much their support in my fight against Cancer was absolutely vital im stepping into the boxing ring for a whole different type of fight.

In October I will be taking part in "PUNCH WITH PURPOSE 7" In Dunedin something i have never ever attempted but am doing for the cause and for the challenge ten weeks of hard training and its almost time.please support me by donating to my page so that others can get the support and kindness from such a great charity as the cancer Society.
