In Richards memory we would like to raise money to donate to Ronald Mcdonald House NZ where he spent alot of time volunteering.
Bay of Plenty
Sadly on 27th November 2020 Sally lost her little brother and her best mate Richard Bird. She is totally devastated and cannot comprehend life without him as they used to speak at least twice a week.
Richard was a very much loved son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, colleague and friend to many and will leave a large whole in our family and his friendship groups. He adored his nephews and they idolised him and loved to be in his company.
In lieu of flowers they would very much appreciate it if family, friends and colleagues were able to donate to this cause. Richard volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house in Wellington and loved the work he did there. Many friends have said how much he adored their children so they thought it would be most appropriate for them to choose a charity reflecting this.
I would like to thank you for taking time to look at this page and for your donation, it will be much appreciated by the charity I'm sure.
Richard was a very caring man my own son Joshua Coleman from Rotorua suffered from Brain Cancer at age 7. Richard shaved his head to raise money for Child Cancer ( Josh shaved his head ) this will always be a reminder of the type of man he was he will be sadly missed by all who new him
I am fundraising in NZ for Richards sister Sally from London. Richard was involved in Ronald Mcdonald house in Wellington sadly he has passed away and Sally would like to raise money for this organisation in his honour.
