This page is setup in memory of Trevor Harris who has sadly passed, too soon, and will be missed more than we can describe.
Auckland
For as long as I can remember, my Dad had dogs. We grew up walking the dogs in the fields of Blandford, then later exploring New Zealand’s beautiful landscape – these were always times that brought the family together.
Animals brought out his soft side, and he was always chatting away to them, calling them ‘poppet’, and so on.
I have many fond memories of Dad’s animal adventures, from the time he helped me to rescue a kitten at the petrol station where I worked, to the time he went to breed one of our Labradors, and instead rescued and brought home the prospective mother, who had been poorly treated.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you would like to make a gesture, you might consider donating to the SPCA in his honour.
The funeral will be held on July 17th, at 3pm in the Omokaroa Boat Club, Tauranga
In memory of my father, Trevor Harris.
