Time has been flying by - I'm only 6 weeks out from a huge event. I have been so much training over the Christmas period, i'm feeling really well prepared. I recently "checked in" on where my fitness was by competing in the St Kilda 2XU Sprint triathlon a week or so ago. Not quite the distances of the 70.3 but still a test of speed across 750m swim, 27km bike and 5k run. Hit a Personal Best on the Swim (18mins) and the Cycle (52mins) which I was pleased about! the run, albeit a struggle towards the end was still a respectable sub-25 mins.

Now I'm settled back in Melbourne, I'm doubling down on the training as I enter my last block of intensity before settling in to race mode. Thank you for everyone's support!

  • A big thankyou!

In no time at all, smashed through $500 mark - Thankyou to everyone for your generosity. There is still a few months to go so I’ve doubled my target to see if we can go even further 💪

Training is going really well! Investing in a canyon bike has been a game changer to explore the roads around Canterbury. Some big hills and many kms have been completed so far with a big increase planned for the Christmas break.

There is a lot more work needed in the pool. I’ve never been the best swimmer but dehydration has been preventing me investing in long sessions.

Flights to Taupō are locked in and a car has been hired. Countdown to March is on 🏊‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🏃‍♂️

  • Welcome!

      5 October 2025

Thank you for stopping by my page. I'm thrilled to be in training for Ironman New Zealand 70.3 for 2026. I took the opportunity to raise some money for a great local charity as i'm currently travelling with my work at Kraken Tech.

Ahead is 6 months of hard training (and building some strength into my broken knees). Whilst this is a passion project, my family lost my Nan a few years back to Dementia/Alzheimers Disease. Ever since, organisations that research or support families impacted have stayed close to my heart. I'm excited to have the opportunity to take on a big athletic goal and do something good along the way.

Stay and follow my journey and if you fancy donating a couple of dingo dollars, that's great too.
