Ironman 70.3 in support of Dementia Canterbury's great work.
Canterbury
I'm attempting my 3rd Ironman 70.3 - this time, in Taupō, New Zealand (March 7th 2026).
Dementia is a horrible disease that impacts millions of families. I've set up this page to ask for help making a difference to those currently living with dementia in the hope that one day its curable.
6 weeks out from Taupō 70.3 20 January 2026
Time has been flying by - I'm only 6 weeks out from a huge event. I have been so much training over the Christmas period, i'm feeling really well prepared. I recently "checked in" on where my fitness was by competing in the St Kilda 2XU Sprint triathlon a week or so ago. Not quite the distances of the 70.3 but still a test of speed across 750m swim, 27km bike and 5k run. Hit a Personal Best on the Swim (18mins) and the Cycle (52mins) which I was pleased about! the run, albeit a struggle towards the end was still a respectable sub-25 mins.
Now I'm settled back in Melbourne, I'm doubling down on the training as I enter my last block of intensity before settling in to race mode. Thank you for everyone's support!
