IRONMAN, in honour of my brother, Jerome

$0 donated
Started a year ago

Raising money in honour of Jerome, my brother who took his own life. I aim to achieve this by doing an IRONMAN.

Auckland

I’ve chosen to avoid the path of least resistance.

This has become one of my main focuses in life. To pursue what is difficult and live a life of meaning and confronting what is necessary, for growth.

This has served me in arguably one of the most difficult situations of my life. This past year I lost my beautiful brother to suicide… a person who was full to the brim of purity, creativity and love. A person who left such a lasting impression on everyone he met, a man who was able to confront any situation with inquisitiveness, curiosity and discernment. Unfortunately the gripping’s of internal pain brought him to the darkest of places one can possibly ever get to. This is why I am here expressing my story to bring light to this epidemic we are facing as a nation and in the world.

Last chance project are a not for profit foundation who aim to work, supply, facilitate and foster support for the men who are so wrought with internal distress, pain and ultimately, lack of hope. This is why I have decided to raise money for this foundation to bring resources to aid the men that are confronting the same internal pain as my brother, but working to overcome the distress and heal from their internal torment.

If this is something you wish to support, any donation would be appreciated.

I thank you for taking the time.

Jerome, I forever love you and will keep choosing this path, in honour of you.

Love,

S
