Officially 606 people took their lives last year.. unofficially it was a lot more.

40% of kids will have a major crisis before they leave school.

80% of kids who have suicidal thoughts never asked for help.

Makes for tough and sobering reading.

IT Heavy Hitters raises funds through charity boxing fights, and I'll be stepping into the ring for 3 rounds to help with this fund raising.

Yep - this is a massive personal challenge. However, it may well pale against the challenge that our family and friends face on a day to day basis when dealing with Suicide.

We may not even know that they are facing it..

To safeguard our children/whanau/friends .. to welcome the discussion .. to remove the stigma .. all things that the Key To Life and IT Heavy Hitters have been pursuing relentlessly over the past few years to achieve.
