Built for battle Boxer
Canterbury
I have always been interested in boxing as a spectator and after attending the Built for Battle event last year with a work colleague we both decided it would be a great way to get fit whilst learning some new skills and would be a great outlet to get rid of a bit of work day stress . Boxing in a corporate event has always appealed to me ( both the mental and physical ) side of the sport and given my age ( 47 ) i thought i may as well tick this one off my bucket list ! to date the experience has been extremely challenging and enjoyable . I am raising money for the All Star Kids Club an organisation that provides a holiday programme for special needs children . As a father of a child with special needs who has attended this programme for some years now i have experienced first hand the amazing work these people do .
I have a 13 year old son with special needs who has been attending the school holiday programme that is run by the Allstar kids Club for the last 5 years and have experienced first hand how much the kids enjoy this programme and the activities provided for special needs kids. It has always impressed me how much effort the staff who run the programme put in to make the All star kids Club tick.
