Raising funds to support the Waipuna Hospice Super Hero Walk 2019 by acknowledging our Super Hero, Bruce Porter

Bay of Plenty

We will be walking in the Waipuna Hospice Super Hero Walk 2019 to remember and honour the biggest superhero in our lives, our Dad.

The support and care from Waipuna Hospice throughout his journey was extraordinary so please support us as we walk to celebrate our hero, as well as acknowledge the amazing work the hospice does.

Thank you!

Waipuna Hospice Super Hero Walk 2019

The aim of this walk is to raise awareness and funds to support Waipuna Hospice services embracing “Who is my Super Hero?” by people acknowledging who their hero is or was and walking in remembrance of them.

There will be many people who have had their lives touched by the loss of a loved one, perhaps a partner or child, friend or neighbors. We see this as being a great way to raise the subject of end of life care and community involvement with a fun and easy participation activity. The funds raised will go a long way to helping the 1 in 3 people in our community who will use Hospice Services.
