One in five of us will experience mental distress this year. My own mental health battles have instilled a personal commitment to help spread the word about mental health awareness, while creating positive vibes in our communities.

That's why I'm signing up for #MulletsForHope to let my mullet be the icebreaker for meaningful conversations. By speaking up about mental health, we're paving the way for openness and understanding.

Your donation not only helps support I AM HOPE (www.iamhope.org.nz), but it will also have a say in how long I keep the mullet! For every $100 raised, I'll keep the mullet an extra month BEYOND July.

Yep, that means $1200 would keep me rocking the mullet for 1 YEAR - that doesn't scare me; donate and make me nervous (2 years, 3 years?!).
