Wishing for the chance of a happier life for these beautiful dogs
Canterbury
Each year, on my birthday, I’m lucky and fortunate enough to feel an immense amount of love and generosity from those around me. This year, I’d like to wish for that love and generosity to be given to something in much more need than myself.
Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue are a non-profit charity and work endlessly putting in every ounce of energy and dollar they have into rescuing, rehabilitating, loving and rehoming Bullbreed puppies and dogs who otherwise would be left to live their lives in shelters or spend a life time being neglected, abused and unloved.
CBBR relies entirely on donations from the public and the work of volunteers. Money they do receive is used to;
•Transport dogs in need of rescue
•Feeding, sheltering and providing comfort to dogs at their shelter here in Christchurch
•Medical attention and veterinary bills
Amongst a variety of other costs, CBBR use donations to desex at risk dogs within the community, helping to prevent unwanted litters that contribute to the number of dogs ending up in shelters.
These dogs don’t choose to be born with the stigma they carry, they deserve to live happy, fulfilled lives with caring and loving homes just like all other breeds.
So, whether it’s the time you take to message me every year, or the loving gifts given, or the nasty tequila shot you buy me at the bar, or even if you had no idea up until now that I even had a birthday, this year if you’re in a position to do so, putting even just $1 towards helping these innocent and deserving wee babes instead would make my every wish come true!
With Love,
Jules ❤️
Through previous volunteering I’ve been able to see the love, hard work generosity and compassion that goes into helping so many beautiful dogs have a second chance at the life they have the right to.
