I’m jumping again this year for Rachel’s House Trust because I know how hard those early parenting years can be without support. Nineteen years ago, I arrived in Rangiora with a newborn and little family and friends nearby. Rachel’s House offers practical help, compassion, and connection to local mums and whānau when they need it most. Plus, apparently, Incy Wincy Spider survived last year… so here we go again! 🕷️❄️

The Raine & Horne Big Splash

The Raine & Horne Big Splash is a community fundraiser where locals raise funds and take an icy plunge to support Rachel’s House Trust.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
