Lachie (or LJ) McLellan

Dad to Ruby and OJ, husband to the amazing Tash, and a teacher at John McGlashan College. Outside the classroom, I love travelling with my family, chasing new experiences, and finding adventure wherever we go. I also enjoy helping train the mighty Green Island Grizzlies Division 1 rugby team.

I’m passionate about giving every young person a chance to thrive, which is why I’m raising funds to support Southern Youth Developments Alternative Education programme. Every dollar you give helps create new opportunities for students who are ready for their next big adventure.

Thanks for your support — it truly means a lot!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
