Jumping to raise funds for Hospice Rotorua who do so much for our community and families through tough times.
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
Update:
My skydive was done today (Sunday, 14th August) and what an experience it was for such an amazing cause! I’m so grateful to be able to have done this to raise money for Rotorua Hospice who help Rotorua families in their time of need to support family and friends at such difficult times. There’s still time to donate should you wish. Thank you to everyone who has so far! 😘🪂
Kia ora! My name is Chris and sky diving has always been on my bucket list! After turning 60 recently I've decided now is the time! So, before I jump on Sunday 14 August, I'd like to raise funds for Hospice Rotorua.
Rotorua Hospice are a charitable trust founded in 1986. Rotorua Hospice provides a range of specialised care services for anyone in the Rotorua Community living with a life-limiting illness - supporting them, their families and carers through illness, death and bereavement. Whilst completely free of charge for people using Hospice services, it costs a lot to provide. As an essential health provider, Rotorua Hospice receives around 50% of funding from the Lakes District Health Board which leaves approximately a $900,000 shortfall. They rely on the financial support from the community to help fundraise this amount which is where people like ourselves come in.
If you can contribute, big or small, it would be greatly appreciated! Let's do this!!
