I’m Juno, 10, and next week I’m shaving my head for brave Kiwi kids with cancer. Help me raise $2,000 for Child Cancer Foundation.
Queenstown, Otago
Hi, I’m Juno.
I’m 10 years old and I love skateboarding, writing, playing the bass, and being outside with my friends, and my dog.
Recently, I learned more about children who have cancer and what they go through. Many spend weeks or months in hospital. They miss school, skating, adventures, birthdays, and time with their friends. Some even lose their hair because of the treatment that helps save their lives.
That got me thinking.
If I lose my hair, it’s my choice.
For kids with cancer, it isn’t.
So next week, I’m shaving my head to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation and to show my support for all the kiwi kids being so brave.
I’m nervous. I’ve never had really short hair before. But that’s nothing compared to what these kids face every day. They show courage in ways most people never have to.
My goal is to raise $2,000 before I shave my head next week!
If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars, it would mean so much. Every donation helps support children and families going through something no family should have to face.
And if you can’t donate, sharing my fundraiser is another amazing way to help.
Thank you for helping me spread awareness, courage, kindness, and the importance of looking out for each other. Together we can show these brave kids, and their families that they're not alone.
Love,
Juno
