Late 2021 Justin was diagnosed with a rare condition called Takayasu's Arteritis (TAK). December 18 2022 specialist gave Justin some good news that the TAK was stable, with the outlook that the meds were finally starting to work. This was fantastic news which Justin was very excited about. In February Justin came up with the thought of raising some dollars for RDNZ as part of refereeing senior club football this coming season. RDNZ supports this idea.
