This page is to aid in fundraising for the charities I have chosen to support in my bid to become Miss World New Zealand 2016!

Auckland

From Ronald McDonald House as MWNZ 2016 primary charity, Shine- Orange Friday to combat domestic violence and support its victims as well as New Zealand Riding for the disabled; I will be using this page to collect funds for these respective admirable causes and encourage you to get involved today!

Karla de Beer's involvement (page creator)

I am involved with Shine- Orange Friday as I get to hear first hand how often domestic violence occurs in New Zealand from my Police Officer partner. The heartbreak this causes is unbearable and totally unacceptable and WE need to do something about this, now.

Ronald McDonald house is a vital support system for ill children and their families; providing housing, schooling and sometimes even an escape to the families in these stressful times. Many Families need to uproot themselves in order to access appropriate medical care for their children, and Ronald McDonald House is behind them every step of the way.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
