I would like to raise money for the starship foundation to help children all over New Zealand get the best care while in hospital.

Hi I'm Kassie, I am 5 years old and I have been growing my hair since I was a baby. I decided I would like to have short hair for a change and mum suggested that I could donate my hair to a charity that makes wigs for people who have no hair. This term at school I have been learning about how to make peoples hearts shine and I am excited to think that my long ponytail will be used to make a wig for someone, put a smile on their face and make them feel awesome.

In just 1 short week Kass will be getting her hair cut in front of all her classmates at Huapai Primary ready to donate it to Freedom wigs.
