We have raised $6000 for Sands. I am so grateful for your generosity. This will help the Sands volunteers in 2023. I had a great ride and can’t believe the 3038kms through this wonderful country we live in. More shades of green than I knew existed. So many small cafes and coffee trucks making divine food. Peter and I are relaxing in Pauanui waiting for Santa to visit .
We arrived in the South Island yesterday 1,500kms done and dusted. Thanks so much for your support for Sands it is appreciated.
A bleak start at Cape Reinga, then onto 90 Mile Beach for 56kms followed by 111kms the next day 34kms on the beach again. Soft sand on the second day made for a tough ride.

This is the top of New Zealand, it isn’t very wide but it certainly quite long. On Thursday morning 3rd we start here and very soon start the long ride on the sand down 90 Mile Beach. Hopefully with a tail wind.Here is a page to follow my progress. Do send it on the more we can all raise for this very worthwhile charity the better.
