Fundraising for Wellington Children's Hospital to outfit and equip their premises for our tamariki and their whānau.
Wellington
Instead of having a 40th birthday party this year, I have decided to host a fundraiser for the Wellington Children’s Hospital but for those that can't attend, I have created this Givealittle page and am asking people to make a donation of $5.
Below is a message from Wellington Hospitals Foundation website.
“The Wellington Hospitals Foundation (WHF) has been asked to raise $10 Million dollars to outfit and equip the interior of the new children’s hospital. Your new children’s hospital will be completely different from anything we’ve seen before, and we are honoured to be involved in creating a hospital that will meet the specific health needs of children, young people and their families.
Your support is vital so that we can raise the $10 Million dollars needed to enable us to equip the new hospital with a wonderful creative environment and state of the art, specialised medical equipment, so that our exceptional doctors and nurses can continue to achieve the impossible every day for the sick kids and families across our region. We would love you to join us on this exciting journey.”
WHF is the official charity for the Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital and unfortunately they don’t receive any funding from the Government so it’s up to amazing people like us in the community to support the Foundation.
Please note this page is linked directly to the Wellington Hospital Foundation account so all monies will go directly to them.
