Beginning Nov I will walk the 3002 km Te Araroa trail. Motivation, my wife has MS and I want to raise funds for the Neurological Foundation

Nationwide

In November I will be retiring at the age of 76 and I have plans to walk the 3002km Aotearoa Trail as a fund-raiser for the New Zealand Neurological Foundation.

The motivation for this has several strands. Firstly my wife was diagnosed some years ago with Multiple Sclerosis. In addition my mother developed Alzheimer's, plus a couple of workmates recently had strokes.

Most people have loved ones such as family or friends who have suffered from neurological problems. So any contributions to this cause will in a positive way help to increase our understanding and approach to these conditions.
