Shaving my head to raise money for cancer research and education.

Mount Maunganui, Tauranga

Cancer is the leading cause of death in New Zealand and the second leading cause worldwide. Too many people close to my heart have been/are affected by cancer. I will shave my head to stand with these loved ones and raise money to help future generations.

I believe science and technology is the only way we can overcome cancer. All money raised will go directly to the Cancer Research Trust New Zealand to help fund research and professional education.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
