Despite my circumstances as a young drop-out student from Otara and while my situation may seem unconventional, I firmly believe that I possess the determination, resilience, and untapped potential necessary to make the most of this incredible opportunity. Life has presented me with numerous challenges, which led to my educational setbacks. However, it is precisely these obstacles that have fueled me to seek a better future. I may not have followed the conventional path so far, but I refuse to let my past define me or limit my aspirations. The space camp trip to Alabama represents a chance for me to rewrite my narrative, break free from the limitations of my circumstances, and chart a course towards a brighter tomorrow.

Choosing STEM is not the usual in my circles but this is exactly why I want to take on this opportunity and have a real world experience to understand STEM and see if there is a potential for me to go into this space.

Coming from Otara, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by underprivileged communities and marginalized youth. Being selected for the space camp trip would not only transform my life but also serve as a powerful symbol of hope and inspiration for others facing similar adversities. By embracing this opportunity, I would become a living testament to the fact that circumstances do not dictate one's potential or define their dreams.
