Hey guys we just finished the walk last Saturday we had good weather, but it was sad that?we clouds and rain on the second day. I don't think anybody got blisters, which is good. The food was brilliant thanks to Sophie who was the cook and host on night two, and to?Tony for his wonderful BBQ. At the end of day two, we were lucky enough to go out Dolphin hunting, in?Paul's boat. We saw two they were about 100m away. After that?we went to Akaroa for the opening of?Sea Week. There was a good turn out.?The most people stayed around for the auction, most item?were sold which?is good.?So thanks Akaroa and all supporters.?

  • Dolphin Keyring

      8 February 2010

Hello.?We have just made some dolphin shaped keyrings, to help with our funraising. They have been made out of Stainless Steel.?I brought along my family to?help me make them in the weekend. My Dad was on drilling, Mum was on counter sinking, and my Aunty and sister worked together to attach them to the keyrings.?Mum even brought along one of her friends, to stick on the labels. My job was to add colouring, with the gassing tourch, to the head, fin and tail of the dolphins. the price for one is $10.00 NZ. If you would like to?purchase one, they are avalible at Black Cat Ferry Lyttelton and Akaroa. They will also be avalible on the 6th of?March at Barnett park after The Walk For Hector's Dolphin with WWF.?There's a picture on our home page in the images, just?scroll through there to find them.?
