Hello from Laura and Libby!

We are bird nerds who work out at the Royal Albatross Centre on the Otago Peninsula.

Laura (right) is the Assistant Operations Manager and has been part of this workplace for over eight years, and Libby (left) is one of our fantastic Visitor Hosts and Educators who has been part of the team for about three years.

The incredible experiences and education we are able to provide visitors and the crucial work done to protect the albatross wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community, so we jumped at the chance to put another nominee forward for this great cause.

We are part of a fantastic and super supportive team of colleagues who nominated us to abseil off the roof of Forsyth Barr Stadium in support to raise funds for Poly Fest this year.

We are excited to be tossed and are up for the challenge!

Toss the Boss Ōtepoti is back for 2026. This is your chance to step up, have some fun, and contribute to this amazing kaupapa.
