Lockdown Legends fundraising page for NZ Mental Health in association with IT Heavy Hitters and Voices of Hope
Auckland
IT Heavy Hitters is a white collar charity boxing event that aims to raise funds to support the mental health of New Zealanders, ultimately - reducing our already very high suicide rate.
The annual event and those that take part have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, previously working with Mike King and I am Hope - this year working with Voices of Hope, another fantastic mental health organisation that do amazing work in our communities.
Lockdown Legends very own Ryan Christie and Matt Adam have been taking part in I.T. Heavy Hitters this year. Training out of Shuriken MMA on the North Shor, both have been matched for a fight each on May 13.
In addition to the fight, we're doing as much as we an to raise awareness, whether that's by donations or simply by you reading this and remembering to reach out to a mate.
We'll be fundraising from 24 April through til the 15 May via this page and we've organised an almighty weekend long raid train from Friday April 28 through til Sunday 30 April with DJ's from all around the world sharing the love.
Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement you've given us both already, and thanks in advance for any donations! Peace, love and chicken grease xox
