Through Mercy Hospice, I am able to comprehend the richness and quality of life a person can have despite having a life-limiting disease.
Auckland
I am one of the registered nurses in the In Patient Unit of Mercy Hospice. Through our work and support of our family and friends, we are able to profoundly comprehend the richness and quality of life that Mercy Hospice brings through the different services they provide to every patient, their families and loved ones, who have a life-limiting disease. I am indeed humbled and privileged to be a part of Mercy's vision and mission, as we journey with the patients and their whanau at this stage in life.
All that Mercy Hospice wants is for every patient to have the fullness of life at any stage because this is really possible! So, on the 18th of May, in partnership with AJ Hackett Bungy, Mercy Hospice is giving 30 people the chance to celebrate life by leaping for life!
We are an organisation catering to individuals 24/7, 365 days a year and is partially funded by the DHB. In lieu of this, I greatly hope to be able to raise funds for our humble institution for the benefit of the people having terminal illnesses, alongside with their families, as I jump off the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Your help will definitely go a long way and will surely echo throughout eternity. Thank you so much for sowing the seeds of love, compassion, and kindness!
