Liana Major dental surgery

Liana is a gentle, loving 7-year-old cat who is part of our Care for Life programme. she has already been through so much, but despite it all, she remains the sweetest little soul.

Not long ago, Liana had to undergo major surgery to remove a kidney. It was a big operation for such a little cat, and she flew through her recovery.

Recently, Liana needed a dental procedure at the vet. During the visit, X-rays revealed something we weren't expecting - she had a fractured lower jaw! A special wire was placed to help her jaw heal, but unfortunately, it hasn't healed properly and is still unstable.

To give Liana the happy, pain-free life she deserves, she now needs corrective surgery at Massey University in Palmerston North. The cost of this specialist treatment is between $1,200 and $1.500 - a big expense for us. but one that will change her life.
