Two queens raising money for other queens in Queenstown
Wellington
Earlier in the year we (Liv and Soph) ticked off our first half marathon and somewhere along the way on a runner’s high decided to sign up for the Queenstown marathon.
Too many special people we know have been diagnosed with breast cancer and we’d like to use this opportunity to wear pink and raise some money for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
We’ve been lucky to have been surrounded by support in numerous forms throughout our lifetime, so we chose to raise funds for a cause that provides support for wāhine.
Every year, 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die. The money raised will help fund groundbreaking work by some of our countries top breast cancer researchers, educate people about breast health, and provide free support services for breast cancer patients and their families.
Thanks for your help in supporting a great cause. Every little bit helps.
This one's for Ali, Trixie, aunties and friends <3
Lots of love,
