All funds raised will go to Hospice NZ to support terminally ill people & their families in the toughest of times.
Auckland
Last year my father-in-law passed away after a long illness. During his last months his family was supported wonderfully by the team at Mercy Hospice in Auckland.
In the 1st Lockdown last year a group of friends & I decided to join the ToA for a purpose. The Tour Aotearoa stretches 3,000 km from Cape Reinga to Bluff it follows a combination of cycle trails, tracks, paths and lanes connected by the most enjoyable country roads available.
Over the 2ish weeks we'll be supporting locally owned tourism accommodation & hospitality operators with $$$ which they really need.
In addition we've all committed to fund raise for Charities of importance to each of us - mine is Hospice NZ who supports all Hospices across NZ.
