Cutting off my locks to raise funds for my uncles cancer treatment.
Nationwide
So, in 2018 my Uncle Stu was diagnosed with a high-risk form of Multiple Myeloma with a prognosis of 3-5 years. Over this time, he has endured ongoing and debilitating treatments including 3 stem cell transplants, in what has been a most valiant fight for his life. Unfortunately, he has now exhausted all forms of treatment in NZ. Thankfully he has an opportunity to travel to China for 3 months to undergo a life changing treatment, CAR T-cell. This therapy involves collecting the patient's T cells and genetically modifying them to attack the cancer cells only.
My cousin and Stu's daughter, Jordyn, has put together a givealittle page to raise funds so her dad can go and spend 3 months in China to receive this treatment.

Since she set it up, I have been racking my brain as to how I can help out, what I can give so my uncle has a fighting chance.
I have donated my hair a couple times before to shave for a cure, so figured why not do something similar and have the funds go towards my uncle Stu's treatment.
I last had it cut before the 1st COVID lockdown so it's been a minute.
So I will ask you to help me help my Uncle and help him get to China to undergo this life changing treatment.
