My motivation to do this ride is to challenge myself and push myself to achieve things I never thought I could do. I have always been an active person, but in the last couple of years Neeny and I have started competing in events together and pushing ourselves to achieve more. This is my motivation, spending time with my great friend while being active and seeing just what our bodies are capable of. We’re beyond excited to announce that the The Tour of Selwyn - Ride for a Great Cause has received a generous $3,000 donation from our friends at Givealittle! 🎉
Givealittle has just reached an incredible milestone, helping Kiwis raise over $300 million for causes across New Zealand! To celebrate this achievement, they gave away $3,000 to three lucky charities. All we had to do to enter was have a donation on our page, and thanks to the amazing support of 60+ incredible donors who contributed to a rider on the Tour of Selwyn, we were in the draw! 🎉
We can hardly believe our luck, being selected as one of the winners! A huge thank you to Givealittle for this amazing opportunity. 🙏
This $3,000 will go directly into our Activator Programme, alongside the funds raised through the Tour. It will help us continue to support tamariki across Selwyn to access physical activity opportunities through our Activator Programme. 💪
