Our 6th annual 24-hour group circuit starts Friday 28th October at 5pm, with Stephan van Gruting aiming to do the whole thing non-stop!
Canterbury
We've run this 24-hour circuit for charity every year now since 2011, having raised over $11,000 in total for the Cancer Society. It's an absolute privilege to be able to help people get into exercise while raising funds for such a great charity fighting the horrors of cancer.
Come join in anytime from 5:00pm on Friday 28th October 2016 until 5:00pm on Saturday 29th October. We will always have one person doing the circuit and one person instructing. It's a beginners level routine so anyone can have a go, made to be fun and rewarding rather than punishing. It's a $10 minimum entry and you can do as much or as little of the circuit as you want. If you can't make it, any donation is still hugely appreciated! 100% of what is raised goes straight to the Cancer Society.
Stephan van Gruting is aiming to complete 96 rounds of the 15-minute circuit non-stop in order to do 24-hours without resting. It will be a massive feat!
I'm managing the circuit, aiming for it to be a bigger success than ever. We have averaged 115 different people each year joining in and just over $2,000 raised each year, so my job is to help push those numbers up slightly, and to help Stephan van Gruting do the whole thing non-stop.
