MAHI FOR MENTAL HEALTH - HURTING FOR THOSE WHO ARE HURTING
Whangaparaoa, Auckland
💙 MAHI FOR MENTAL HEALTH 💙
F45 WHANGAPARAOA - Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd August
Hurting for those who were hurting.
We’re coming together to raise awareness and funds for the I Am Hope Foundation, and to honour the lives lost to mental health struggles here in Aotearoa.
Why is this important?
Every year, hundreds of Kiwis die by suicide, and thousands more attempt to. Behind these numbers are real people — whānau, friends, colleagues — and it’s time we show up for them.
The Goal:
We’ll be at the studio putting in the hard mahi to collectively:
🚴♀️🏃♂️ Row, bike, ski, and run 617km — one kilometre for every Kiwi lost to suicide in 2024 (445 men, 172 women). Plus 3500 burpees for attempted suicides.
💥 And this year we’re bringing in a new twist… NOMINATED BURPEES!
You can nominate a coach or member to do burpees – all in good fun and all for a good cause! The more donations, the more burpees they'll have to face 😅
