As a parent I think about the difference a bit of joy would make to a child living with a critical illness. Often parents have to give up work to look after their child, and it impacts the whole family. So imagine how special it would be for your child to have their wish granted – whether it is to meet someone famous, go on holiday, see snow for the first time or even just have brand new toys that aren’t handed down.
Make-A-Wish NZ needs our help to make wishes a reality, so I am taking part in their first-ever Make-A-Wish NZ - Ultimate Adventure Challenge. Together with 11 other adventurous people I will have the privilege of taking part in a life-changing journey that culminates in a national TV show.
I have committed to raising a minimum of $10,000 for Make-A-Wish NZ, a charity that grants special wishes to children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish receives no Government funding, so they need people like us.
Please support me, and give generously to Make-A-Wish so they can transform lives one wish at a time. (If you can afford to also cover the admin fee here, I would be very grateful.)
I am a Wish Dad who's son has previously been supported by Make a Wish and want to give back.
