SMASHING A REAL 90 MILES. $1 a lap, 35 laps total.
Northland
A friend got in my ear about getting more involved with some charity work, and setting goals for what you want to achive.
I've seen the work Kind Hands do, and I know how their work affects the kids and families involved with them, so what better way to kick off 2020, than jumping on board the 90 mile fundraising for them.
UPDATE :
Due to receiving some advice regarding the distance/time frame I had planned, I've had to make a couple of little changes.
Main walk (22 laps) will be completed on the 22nd of Feb.
This is likely to take me around 26-30 hours ....
The other 13 laps (to take the distance to a REAL 90 miles) will be completed in the weeks leading up to the 22nd.
Due to the heat, amount of time I'll be out there, advise was it was too dangerous to attempt 35 laps in one go.
I'm looking for donations of a minimum of $1 per lap (35 laps of the loop is a little over 145km).
Knee deep plumbing will be kicking it off with $5 per lap !
I have friends involved with Kind Hands, and I know the amazing work they do.
Super keen to help out
