Mauao Challenge, 30 times to the summit of our great Mauao, back to back to back…

I'm excited to be fundraising for Cure Our Ovarian Cancer.

COOC is NZ's only dedicated ovarian cancer charity who are committed to providing support to women living with ovarian cancer, leading change by advocating in the ovarian cancer space, raising awareness of symptoms and funding ground-breaking research.

Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of all gynaecological cancers in NZ, with incredibly low survival rates, yet unbelievably it is one of the least known and least funded cancers.

I'm fundraising for Cure Our Ovarian Cancer because like many people, I have a family member with Ovarian Cancer. Knowing what they go through on a daily basis, I felt putting myself through some self inflicted pain and suffering, was the least I could do. So, on July 15th I am attempting to get to the summit of our great Mauao 30 times back to back, roughly 70km and around 6000m total elevation 😳. I am hoping to complete it in 20 hours, and raise something me much needed funds and awareness along the way
