Shaving my head to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ
Auckland
I am shaving my head to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ, a registered charity that receives no government funding and is reliant on donations only. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer for men in Aotearoa, yet it is largely undiagnosed and untreated. I am also raising these funds in memory of my Pop who we lost to prostate cancer earlier this year and who was very special to a lot of people.
Donations to this charity go towards providing support to men and their families impacted by prostate cancer, advocating for improved access, diagnosis and treatment outcomes, funding research, and raising awareness through public education events and campaigns.
Whether you know someone who has been affected by prostate cancer, or simply want to support a cause that could benefit someone close to you in the future, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.
