Michael Jonas does Drop Your Boss

$3,715 of $3,500 goal
Given by 32 generous donors in 5 weeks

Chapman Tripp consultant & former partner Michael Jonas is raising funds for NZyouth by participating in this year's Drop Your Boss.

Auckland

Chapman Tripp consultant, Michael Jonas, is preparing to plummet 192m off the Sky Tower – all in the name of charity.

Michael, who specialises in banking & finance law, with a particular focus on complex and structured financing arrangements, is a former partner at Chapman Tripp, and has returned following various roles at Heartland Bank.

He is participating in this year’s “Drop Your Boss” in support of The Graeme Dingle Foundation.

The Foundation was founded by Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson in 1995 as the Project K Trust. It is a leader in the field of child and youth development. The Foundation runs several successful programmes – Kiwi Can, Stars, Career Navigator, Project K and MYND. The programmes incorporate elements of the great outdoors, inspirational classroom leaders and world-class mentors to help kids, from age 5 to 18, keep on track, develop confidence, build resilience and self-belief, set goals for the future, and contribute positively to society.

The event – which is The Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year - will see a number of corporate partners and business leaders “dropped” from the Auckland’s Sky Tower. Prior to that, each “Boss” must raise $3,500 via a Givealittle page. Your donation, no matter how much, will be hugely beneficial. The Foundation’s research shows that every dollar invested in its programmes gives back a long-term benefit to New Zealand of $7.15.
