Every day of every year Nurse Maude provides end of life care and support free of charge to patients and their families.
Nurse Maude is proudly supported by the BNI Chapters of Canterbury.
This November the gentlemen of BNI in Canterbury will be growing their moustaches to show their support for Nurse Maude's quest to build a new hospice.
For the past 14 years the Nurse Maude Hospice has operated out of the ground floor of the old Nurse Maude Hospital, and, while the quality of care remains exceptional, it was never designed, or intended, for end-of-life care.
A new hospice is planned to continue to support folks in Canterbury approaching their end of life.
